- Read Amanda Gorman’s The Hill We Climb
- Start vocabulary builder together using the Gorman poem

- Discuss vocabulary words and poetic devices
- discuss ad assignment, using Oatly Advert.
- breakout rooms to discuss ad using rhetorical situation sheet

- explain homework: discussion board 1. If we have already done vocabulary and rhetorical situations in class, the discussion board is all you have for homework.
HOMEWORK: A. Start vocabulary builder. B. Use rhetorical situation sheets to dissect ads. C. Post Discussion Board One before 11:59pm. B. Read and respond to two Discussion Board One posts from outside your group.
